EDII-PHBIF in association with Horticultural College & Research Institute, Periyakulam organized SPICE EXPO 2022 on 13.7.2022 & 14.7.2022. Technical sessions from eminent scientists and entrepreneurs provided valuable information on various recent developments in Spice Farming on the 1st day of expo. In total 35 stalls were occupied by Spice entrepreneurs &Exporters, Spice FPOs, Farm Implement Companies, Farm Input Companies & Government Institutions for display of their products & services. On both the days, expo attracted more than 500 farmers, entrepreneurs, scientists, & students. To summarize SPICE EXPO 2022 stimulated the interest in the farmers to adopt new farming technologies & adopt modern farm support systems like Precision Farming Technologies.
